Peter Coffin is One of YouTube’s Best Comedians
Granted, I am a bit biased in writing this article. I went to the same high school as Peter and had a class or two with him. However, if I thought his content sucked, I wouldn’t be writing this and I just watched about 100 of his videos on YouTube so I could write him an honest, positive review.
A lot of Peter’s videos are parodies of music videos, movie trailers, and commercials. He also has a lot of original content that is really hilarious too. Peter seems to walk the line of what most people would find outright offensive, though he somehow managed to stir up controversy with his Miley Cyrus Twitter Rap. By that I mean crazy Miley fans sending him hate mail… yeah. Peter also dabbles into politics from time to time, but it’s nothing preachy. I remember laughing my ass of at his Biden/Palin debate clip during the 2008 election cycle.
The best part about his videos is that they are all pretty high quality compared to most of the garbage on YouTube; which is to say that he typically has a plot, knows how to edit videos, and employs the use of green screens. These things plus the fact that his writing is pretty good makes me feel comfortable saying that he’s one YouTube’s best. Maybe I’m out of touch, but I then again there are apparently people out there who think What the Buck and Fred are good, so maybe I’m right on target with this one.
