It's Not the GOP's Fault that Obama Didn't Pay for Any of His Stimulus

The discussion over the Bush tax cuts has naturally frustrated me. Not just because repealing them doesn’t make sense. It’s not like sound economic theory has ever made sense to Democrats. What is frustrating me is that the Democrats are accusing the GOP of being hypocrites for backtracking on staving off high deficits.
So let’s break down what’s happening:
- Obama blows trillions of dollars.
- Obama does this with debt i.e. raising deficits.
- Obama blames the GOP for not wanting to lower his deficits(?)
Wow. The deficit wouldn’t be so high if weren’t for Obama! Also, what happened to the rhetoric about raising taxes in a recession?
This all goes back to there being no real reason for Democrats to be in power. They have no agenda based on anything conservative or liberal; they are basically a protective force for unions.
