Mary Valentine for State Senate – Union, Trial Lawyer, and Corporate Darling
Re-posted from Townhall Free Media.
Mary Valentine, a Democrat currently serving as a representative from the 91st House District, has launched her bid for the state senate's 34th district. Like many of her colleagues in the State House, she is quite familiar with taking money from corporate and special interests. Representative Valentine has demonstrated, through her campaign finance records, that she is firmly in the pocket of unions and number of other interests including the Michigan Trial Lawyer Association and Representative Robert Jones' Jones Advocating for Michigan (JAM-PAC).
In her career she has taken $10,000 from the United Auto Workers (UAW), $9,825 from the Michigan Trial Lawyer Association, and $4,700 from JAM-PAC whose key contributors have been identified in the figure below. You can view more of her contributions (for her State House committee) here and by searching with this ID 512548.
